ANIMAL KEEPING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture, in particular, animal farming. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has animal keeping house 1, boxes 2 with slurry channels 3 made in the form of fixed part of circle with hollow pole 4 arranged in central part of circle. Hollow pole 4 serves both ventilation tube for underground manure storage and axis of rotation for movable part of circle made in the form of platform. Feeder 8 defined by outer fence 9 and conical feed dispenser 10 is located on platform. Tethers are disposed on outer contour of feeder 8 at an angle to radii of platform. Feed is thrown to animals through door arranged under feeder 8 in house roof. Platform is equipped with locking device 12 adapted for stopping rotation of feeder 8. Locking device 12 is controlled, for example, from milking site 13. Boxes 2 and slurry channels 3 are cleaned and manure is thrown through plated portion 18 of box floor into manure storage by means of scrapers 19 rigidly fixed on platform. Exhaust ventilation of house 1 is effected by connecting upper end of door through hose to ventilation shaft. EFFECT: reduced consumption of labor, improved animal keeping conditions and reduced expenses for heating house by using heat generated from manure heating. 4 cl, 3 dwg
