FIELD: gas-keeping vessels. SUBSTANCE: gas cylinder consists of a smoothly conjugate neck, cylindrical shell and a spherical bottom made of a single steel tubular blank. The relation between outside diameter D and thickness S_w of the wall of the cylindrical shell satisfies inequality 45≤D/S_c≤55. The relation between maximum thickness S_b of the bottom measured in the geometric axis of the cylinder and mentioned thickness S_w satisfies inequality 2,2≤S_b/S_w≤3,5. The central part of the spheroidal bottom may be additionally welded on the outer side to depth S_d = (1,0-1,5) S_w.
