FIELD: gas-keeping vessels. SUBSTANCE: gas cylinder consists of a smoothly conjugate neck, cylindrical shell and a spherical bottom made of a single steel tubular blank. The relation between outside diameter D and thickness Sw of the wall of the cylindrical shell satisfies inequality 45≤D/Sc≤55. The relation between maximum thickness Sb of the bottom measured in the geometric axis of the cylinder and mentioned thickness Sw satisfies inequality 2,2≤Sb/Sw≤3,5. The central part of the spheroidal bottom may be additionally welded on the outer side to depth Sd = (1,0-1,5) Sw.
