FIELD: locksmith's work. SUBSTANCE: the lock cross-bar is made of two components kinematically linked with each other by means of a coupling joint, one of the components forms the cross-bar working member, and the other forms the cross-bar actuating member and is kinematically linked with the lock mechanism. The coupling joint is made in the form of a guide and a slide, the guide is rigidly fastened to the cross-bar working member, and the slide is made in the form of a bracket with a hole or slot and rigidly fastened to the cross-bar actuating member or made directly on the actuating member of the cross-bar with a hole or slot, the slide is kinematically linked with the guide and installed for reciprocating motion along the guide.
