APPARATUS FOR DRIFTING DEEP HOLES Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: machine engineering, instrument making, mainly working deep holes, preferably with small diameters. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes housing with opening for placing drift and pusher of its drive, secured to housing guiding device for pusher. Guiding device is in the form of several plates with central opening for pusher and with lugs arranged on end portions of plates and having holes for mounting each plate with possibility of engaging with two return springs. Columns guiding different plates are arranged in different planes passing through axis of pusher. In order to provide enhanced operational reliability apparatus is provided with sleeves pressed-in to each plates and made of elastic antifriction material. Openings of said sleeves are matched with above mentioned central opening for pusher to be mounted in said opening by interference fit. Return springs are mounted on two pins, one of said pins is secured to upper portion of columns, other pin - to lugs of plates. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability. 2 dwg
