FIELD: provision of spark-proofness of electric systems used at territories with explosion-hazardous gas media. SUBSTANCE: method includes selection of two-wire electric circuit of electric system with minimal values of distributed capacity and active resistance of communication line, i.e. with maximum power supply to discharge. Electric circuit is opened between the first output of supply source and the first output of the first wire of communication line, and they are connected to each other via resistor. Value of resistor is far less than active resistance of pair of wires of communication line. Experimental estimation of spark-proofness is carried out with the help of spark-forming mechanism connected to circuit opening between the second output of power source and the first output of the second wire of communication line. EFFECT: higher accuracy of experimental estimation of spark-proofness by creation of the most hazardous conditions of test. 1 dwg
