SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic urological apparatus has high-frequency generator of electric oscillations, power supply cable and piezoceramic ultrasonic radiator with therapeutic intensity between 0.2 and 0.6 W cm-2. Cylindrical ultrasonic radiator has outer diameter that does not protrude beyond diameter of catheter and its inner diameter is chosen on condition that relative bandwidth of radiator with due account of non-stability of generator and load of man's tissue on radiator is provided. Height of cylindrical radiator opposite to sphincter is so selected that characteristic of its radiation directivity embraces prostate gland. Working frequency of generator is resonance frequency of cylindrical radiator. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of ultrasonic action in process of conducting physiotherapeutic procedure. 3 dwg
