FIELD: tyre-making industry, applicable for working of tyre bead at assembly of tyres. SUBSTANCE: mechanism has a body and a gauge with drives for axial movement, beading levers with a ring spring installed on the body, drive for turning the beading levers and clamping gears with a ring spring engageable with the gauge. The ring spring of the clamping levers is made of a compression spring with a coiling opposite the coiling of the ring spring of the beading levers, and coiled with the following parameters: D_cl≥8d, where t - spring coiling pitch, d - wire diameter, - maximum deformation of one coil, D_cl - outside diameter of spring coiling of champing levers. EFFECT: improved conditions of servicing of assembly machines and simplified construction of the mechanism. 3 dwg
