FIELD: disintegration of rock and ores. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes delivery of material to revolving drum, raising it over inner surface of drum and pneumatic unloading; after separating of material from inner surface of drum, lumps are subjected to impact action by working member mounted coaxially in drum on hollow shaft for opposite rotation at speed equal to 85 to 92% of critical speed; pneumatic unloading of material is effected through holes of hollow shaft. Rotary mill has rotatable drum with guards on its inner surface, loading units and pneumatic unloading units; mounted coaxially inside drum on hollow shaft is rotor with beaters for opposite rotation at speed equal to 85 to 92% of critical speed; shaft of rotor is provided with holes for pneumatic unloading of material; helical spirals for feeding the material and discharging its coarse fractions are mounted in cavity of rotor shaft.
