HIGH-SPEED HAMMER WITH DOUBLE-SIDE STRIKE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: plastic material working, namely forming and forging articles of usual and hard-to-form metals and alloys. SUBSTANCE: high-speed hammer with double-side strike includes units for controlling motion of strikers having slide valves with central opening arranged at side of end of control chamber continuously connected with pressure source and with radial openings. Slide valve engages with pusher having rod forming by its end opposite to rod second control chamber connected at reset period with discharging system and at speeding up period - with pressure source. Reset chamber of each cylinder is connected through turning formed by pusher rod, turnings of control unit and main lines with discharging chamber of opposite cylinder arranged between reset chamber and gas accumulator. It prevents superintensive operation of slide valve, its wear and jamming, simplifies design of hammer. EFFECT: enhanced control quality, improved accuracy of synchronization of counter motions of strikers at working stroke. 1 dwg
