FIELD: mechanical engineering; devices for transmission of rotation; drives of heavily-loaded technological equipment. SUBSTANCE: hydrostatic safety flexible dampening clutch has two members kinematically linked by means of hydraulic cylinder which is hydraulically connected with damper. Novelty of invention consists in availability of transfer unit introduced between clutch members and hydraulic cylinder; hydraulic system is provided with hydraulic accumulator and controllable hydraulic distributor with clutch torque control system. Inlet and outlets of hydraulic distributor are made for alternating connection of hydraulic cylinder with damper and hydraulic accumulator. EFFECT: possibility of automatic engagement of clutch after emergency disengagement by limiting torque, damping considerable oscillatory loads due to increased of clutch compliance and angle of relative twist of clutch members; reduced cost, mass and overall dimensions; reduced effect of leakage of working fluid in hydraulic system on clutch operation. 23 cl, 13 dwg
