FIELD: rocket armament. SUBSTANCE: the rocket launcher has a launching device, sighting device, removable night vision device with fasteners, plate for installation and fixing of the night vision device that is vertical and parallel to the optical axis of the sighting device. The plate is fastened on the side wall of the sighting device with a clearance, provided with three horizontal recesses that are open from the front side. Two recesses are positioned above, on a straight plane parallel to the optical axis of the sighting device, they have different arms, and the fasteners on the night vision device are made in the form of three cantilever catches located on the wall of the device body in a mirror-like manner relative to the recesses on the plate. The guide surfaces of the two top catches are parallel to the optical axis of the night vision device. The catches are made in the form of lugs with flanges on the outer end faces. The diameter of the guide surface of the catches equals the width of the recesses, and its height equals the width of the recesses, and its height equals the plate thickness. The catch flange height is less than the clearance between the wall of the sighting device body and the plate surface, and a handle is located on the upper surface of the body of the night vision device. The method for installation of the night vision device on the launcher consists in the fact that the device fasteners are oriented in the recesses of the vertical plate, and then combined and fixed to one another. To this end, first the device is oriented by the top catches in front if the shorter arms of the plate top recesses, and in height of the flanges of the top catches above the lower arms of the recesses. Then the device is approached until the lower catch touches the side wall of the sighting device, turned relative to the lower catch until the top catches rest against the plate. After that the device is lowered until the top catches touch the lower arms of the plate top recesses and shifted backwards as far as it will go at a simultaneous actuation of the fasteners.
