FIELD: mechanical engineering; bodies of trolleybuses. SUBSTANCE: proposed roof has skeleton made of two longitudinal loadbearing side angle plates reinforced by side outer panel and inner sheet of increased thickness and interconnected by cross and longitudinal members of thin-sheet open L-shaped section over entire height of roof section, and also outer panels. Connecting members are provided with local reinforcements in points of maximum load and are enlightened to maximum in places of minimum stresses. Roof is provided with recesses for accommodating electric device. EFFECT: increased strength of roof, reduced metal usage, enlarged manufacture capabilities and possibility of mounting large-size electric devices in compartments of roof. 6 dwg
