FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to 1,2-adducts of stable nitroxides with substituted ethylenes of the formula (I) where R1-R2 mean alkyl with 1-4 carbon atoms; E means phenyl or phenyl substituted with halogen atom or E means COOH or COOR6 where R6 means alkyl with 1-4 carbon atoms; T means a group that is necessary for completion of piperidine ring or 1,1,3,3-tetramethylisoindoline ring being T can be substituted with hydroxyl, OKCO-OKW, acetamido-group or group OCOR9 where R9 means phenyl under condition that the compound of the formula (I) is not 1-phenyl-1,2-bis-(2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1- yloxy)ethane or 1-phenyl-1,2-bis-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylisoindoline-2-yloxy)ethane. 1,2-Bis-adducts of stable hindered nitroxide compounds with substituted ethylenes are synthesized by interaction of two equivalents of nitroxyl compound with ethylene-unsaturated compound, for example, styrene or acrylate ester. These adducts are very effective inhibitors used for prevention of early polymerization of ethylene-unsaturated monomers when such monomers are subjected for distillation, processing or storage. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis, valuable properties. 12 cl, 1 tbl, 18 ex
