SUBSTANCE: manufacture of articles from amber-based composites, preferably from fine amber fraction, in the form of crumb or flour, involves pretreatment of amber by cleaning it to remove oxide film, mixing amber with phenol- formaldehyde bakelite resin powder in quantities 10 to 40% of the total weight of composition, loading thus prepared mass into press mould, heating the latter to 130-200 C, pressing the mass at this temperature and specific pressures of pressing between 6.0 and 8.0 MPa, ageing at pressure for 1-3 min, and discharging finished article from press mold.
