FIELD: dewatering of grainy materials; designs of band filters used for dewatering of coarse-grained bituminous coal and anthracite concentration products. SUBSTANCE: band vacuum filter has endless filter cloth, supporting draining perforated band, drive and driven drums, frame, partition, drying zone vacuum chamber whose upper wall slotted hole is adjacent to perforated band, airproof cover plate fastened to frame and covering the filter cloth ahead of drive drum with formation of slot between it and partition for air passage. Slotted hole in vacuum chamber upper wall is located across perforated band along slot formed by airproof cover plate and partition. EFFECT: higher efficiency of grainy material dewatering with reduced power consumption. 3 cl, 3 dwg
