METHOD OF OPERATION OF WELL JET PLANT AT TESTING AND COMPLETION OF WELLS, AND WELL JET PLANT Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: oil industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed method comes to mounting jet pump and packer on tubing string, running in of tubing string, packer releasing and building required depression in under-packer zone by pumping liquid out of under-packer zone. Tubing string, valve unit with seat for mounting check valve, liner with inlet funnel and circulation valve. Assembling is done by mounting, in turn, the following parts on tubing string: pump, disconnecting/connecting unit, valve unit, packer and liner. When running in, packer is installed at distance not less than 50 m higher than top of producing formation, and inlet funnel, not higher than 2 m from top of said formation. After releasing of packer, gun with sealing unit is lowered into well on logging cable which gets onto seat in pump passage channel. Gun is arranged opposite to producing formation. Pump is used to build required differential pressure, gun is blasted and drainage of formation is carried out until liquid under packer is completely replaced by formation fluid. Then gun with sealing unit is withdrawn and radiator and physical fields receiver-converter with sealing unit are lowered into well and, with pump operating, evaluation of formation in zone of perforation and testing of formation fluid getting into well are carried out. Then radiator and receiver-converter are withdrawn, and valve insert and locking insert are lowered into well to isolate inner space of tubing string and surrounding space. By delivering alleviated medium into space surrounding tubing string and squeezing the medium into space of tubing string, well is set for flowing operation. After decrease of well production rate, well is killed through circulation valve by higher density liquid with closing of check valve, locking insert is taken out and depression insert with self-contained pressure gauge and flowmeter is lowered into tubing string and formatting fluid is pumped out of well at different pressures simultaneously measuring well production rate on the surface and under jet pump. Then depression insert with pressure gauge and flowmeter is taken out, readings of bottom-hole pressures and production rates are taken and curve is plotted defining dependence of flow rate from bottom-hole pressure, and type-size of pump required for forced production of oil is determined using the plotted curve. Then jet pump with above-set tubing string is disconnected by means of disconnecting/connecting unit and is lifted to surface. Pump of required capacity for production of oil is lowered on tubing string into well and is connected with part of tubing string left in well after which well is started for forced production.
