FIELD: measurement and control over parameters of motion of drives of technological equipment. SUBSTANCE: technical result of invention consists in formation of static torsion stress in rectilinear magnetostrictive acoustic line of converter, in excitation of normal torsion waves of increased amplitude in its medium without any additional energy consumption in recording-reading circuit, in isolation and coding of time interval of displacement of drive of technological equipment. Converter includes magnetostrictive acoustic line 1, two acoustic absorbers 2, stabilizer 3 of angular twisting, mobile polarizer 4, two displacement limiters 5, immobile reading element 6, amplifiers of recording 7 and reading 8, computer 9, input 10 and output 11, 12, 13 buses.
