FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves administering Asithromycin 2-3 weeks from the beginning of specific anti-tuberculosis chemotherapy at a commonly used dose during 5 days. Then, prednisolone is administered 1-1.5 months later at a dose of 0.2-0.4 mg/kg during 3-4 weeks followed by 2.5 mg reduction every 3-4 days. Asithromycin is administered once more for 5 days on the background of reducing Prednisolone dose. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; accelerated resorption of inflammatory pulmonary tissue changes; avoided adverse side effects.
