FIELD: thermal engineering; pre-shutdown treatment of steam turbines, steam lines, and auxiliary heat-transfer equipment. SUBSTANCE: proposed method primarily used for turbines incorporating high-, intermediate-, and low-pressure cylinders includes pre-cleaning of flow path in high- and intermediate-pressure cylinders by means of oxygen-containing steam followed by passivation. Upon feeding oxygen-containing steam entire installation is disconnected from external heat cycle, all components of this installation are drained, and dry air is supplied to steam spaces of auxiliary equipment, pipelines, and to all the turbine cylinders through its bottom points at air pressure not lower than 10 mm of water and relative humidity not over 50% maintained within turbine. Air discharge is effected through starting ejector exhaust side, turbine end seals, control-valve rods, and bypass tube drains. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of turbine preservation treatment. 1 dwg
