FIELD: electromagnetic locking devices, applicable for locking of various rooms, the doors of entrances of tenement houses inclusive. SUBSTANCE: the device has a key of non-magnetic material with ferromagnetic cross-pieces and a lock located in it in a code sequence. The lock has a switching unit and series-connected decoding and lock code setting units, logic coincidence circuit and an actuating unit. The decoding unit has N elements consisting of a pair of inductance coils and an exciting inductance coils and an exciting inductance coil. The inductance coils installed on a common ferromagnetic core are connected in opposition. Each element has three stable states depending on the availability and position of the cross-piece overlapping the cores of the common magnetic circuit carrying the inductance coils. The switching unit uses a Hall generator installed in the center of a permanent magnet, fastened on whose pole ends and on top the Hall generator are the ferromagnetic cores.
