FIELD: medicine, hemorheology, phytotherapy. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes an agent and a method of its preparing. Method involves the use of a dry extract from Leuzea carthamoides roots and rhizomes as a hemorheological agent obtained by extraction with 25-40% ethyl alcohol in the ratio raw : extractant = 1: 1 at temperature 18-20 C for 10-12 days. Invention can be used in treatment of cardiovascular, endocrine and other diseases accompanying with syndrome of enhanced blood viscosity.
