FIELD: shipbuilding; building hovercraft hulls. SUBSTANCE: hovercraft hull has pontoon and superstructure. Over outer perimeter of cross section, hull has web frames formed by stiffeners. Some web frames are open above deck and other web frames are closed. Longitudinal stiffeners run over superstructure deck between longitudinal bulkheads. Pontoon deck has holes edged by vertical walls of air ducts and transversal I-beams in area of center plane. Open web frames are made of two external half-webs terminating on longitudinal bulkheads at the top and on walls of air ducts at the bottom. Closed webs include transversal I-beams. Longitudinal stiffeners are also mounted on pontoon deck. System of closed webs and open half-webs spreads to outer perimeter of pontoon. Hinged stringers and carlings are mounted on all transversal stiffeners. Transversal I-beams are provided with double-sided flanges on lower web which smoothly widens at joint area after air duct wall.
