FIELD: construction industry. SUBSTANCE: process of installation of tension ceiling includes preliminary nesting of blanks on cloth, its fixing over perimeter of walls with the aid of harpoon linked to cloth over perimeter and engaged by profile members mounted over perimeter of walls. Sizes of cloth for nesting of blanks are determined by triangulation method with allowance for tension factor of material of which cloth is produced. Length of side of cloth is calculated by formula L1 = L(1-k)+Cf(L),, where L1 is length of section on pattern, cm; L is length of section on plan, cm; k is dimensionless tension factor of cloth; CfL is positive or negative value depending on linear dimension L, cm. Room is heated to temperature 45-65 C near surface of ceiling prior to fixing cloth. After it cloth is anchored first in diametrically opposite angles, then cloth is tensioned uniformly over entire perimeter of room. EFFECT: simplified process of installation, provision for required degree of tension of cloth to diminish its sagging with permissible tension of cloth preventing its breakage. 3 dwg
