FIELD: heat-power engineering; manufacture of boilers. SUBSTANCE: furnace for burning solid fuel in fluidized layer consists from narrow traveling chain grate inclined towards level, sectionalized primary blast air box located inside grate, secondary blast system and cooling panel located on both sides along and above upper branch of grate and two pipes of cooling panel running along walls of furnace; these pipes are located at some distance from each other and pipe with several holes is located between them; holes of this pipe are directed inside furnace; these holes are used for supply of part of primary air perpendicularly relative to main flow of air fed from under upper branch of grate; secondary air is fed to above-layer space through nozzles with slotted tips located in staggered order on side walls of furnace at angle of 10 to 15 deg. relative to level towards fire grate and oriented towards active combustion zone.
