FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has flexible hollow thin-walled obturator unit 1 having opening in the lower part which is equal to maxillary defect inlet opening. Base of obturator unit 1 is rigidly connected to prosthesis base 3 having air valve 4 with bilateral passage one end of which is connected to cavity of obturator unit 1 and the other one is connected to cap tooth 5 by means of threaded connection. Walls of obturator unit 1 have at least two rigidity ribs 6 arranged in meridian relative to vault of obturator unit 1. Obturator unit 1 has chamber 7 filled with biologically inactive gel mass. The chamber has flexible external wall 8. Surface of chamber 7 adjacent to maxillary defect is shaped so that it spatially repeats postoperative defect structure. Internal wall 9 of chamber 7 is wall of obturator 1, its shape being similar to the external surface of chamber 7. EFFECT: eliminated keloid cicatrix friction against obturator surface. 4 dwg
