FIELD: methods of estimation of quality of metal semifinished items, mainly light alloys by static criteria. SUBSTANCE: method consists in performing random acceptance check whose criterion is durability obtained at fatigue tests of specimens under test and reference specimens conducted at two levels of breaking stresses; samples of durability for specimens under test and reference specimens obtained at tests at different levels of stresses are combined in single variational series for each level of stresses; homogeneity of samples in each variational series is judged from results of analysis of inversions and decision is taken pertaining to level of quality of semifinished items according to the results of mutual comparison: good, satisfactory, rejected. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of estimation of quality of metal blanks at stage of semifinished items. 1 dwg
