FIELD: power engineering, recovery of heat of stack gases in power installations. SUBSTANCE: according to invention stack gases passing through gas conduit are cooled beneath dew point for recovery of heat and are removed from plant. In plant water is heated in utilization heat exchanger and are carried off to user. Outer surface of utilization heat exchanger is sprayed with intermediate heat transfer agent-by water from sprinkler with distributing nozzles directed in opposition to flow of gases. Intermediate heat transfer agent in this case is heated in advance in heat exchanger installed in gas passage in opposition to utilization heat exchanger and at same distance from sprinkler as utilization heat exchanger. Intermediate heat transfer agent heated up to temperature not exceeding temperature of wet thermometer is supplied to heat exchanger additionally heating sprinkling water installed in gas conduit and positioned above sprinkler. Water is heated up to needed temperature and directed into sprinkler. EFFECT: increased temperature of water carried away to user. 1 dwg
