METHOD FOR PREDICTING PYLORIC HELICOBACTERIOSIS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2194276 C2

FIELD: medicine, gastroenterology. SUBSTANCE: method deals with diagnostics of pyloric helicobacteriosis of mucous membrane in gastroduodenal area. Helicobacteria are detected due to modified rapid urea test with subsequent analysis of results obtained. After obtaining a positive test on the presence of pyloric helicobacterium in a bioptate one should determine a digital value of solution's optic density being the one directly proportional to inoculation degree of pyloric helicobacterium of mucous membrane distributed by the following five degrees: I degree corresponds to optic density of solution within 0.003-0.1; II degree - within 0.2-0.5; III degree - within 0.6-0.9; IV degree - within 1.0-1.4; V degree - ranged from 1.5 and higher. The method increases diagnostic information content and efficiency in determining the degree of helicobacteriosis infection. EFFECT: higher efficiency of diagnostics. 2 ex
