FIELD: cosmetology, particularly, remedies for hair and/or body skin care. SUBSTANCE: shampoo contains aqueous extract of cambrian blue clay as a solvent and source of micro- and macroelements, and one or some surface-active substances, thickening agent, perlescent agent, food color, extract of medicinal herbs, conserving agent, stabilizer pH, flavor and other possible components in determined quantitative ratio. Shampoo is prepared by the method provided for preparation and application, as a solvent, of aqueous extract of blue cambrian clay which is a filtrate of settled suspension from receipt quantities of preliminarily treated clay and purified water with the following mixing with surface-active substances, thickening agent, perlescent agent, food color, extract of medicinal herbs, conserving agent, flavor, stabilizer pH and other possible components in determined quantitative ratio and temperature regime. EFFECT: improved antiinflammatory, antiseborrheic, antiseptic, generating and stimulating action on skin; activization of hair growth, improved condition of skin and hair. 2 cl, 1 tbl
