Compressed air getting in the expansions. Compressed air getting in the expansions shifts the blanks towards the feed roller with riffles and presses them to it. Variation in thickness of the blanks is compensated for by the magnitude of shift of the blanks towards the feed roller. Compressed air serves as a lubricant between the blank surface and the machine table. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of feed of variable-thickness blanks, and, as a result, enhanced capacity. 2 dwg
