FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: procedure measuring displacement is based on measurement of movement of rod contacting element of electric circuit and on measurement of electric signal of electric circuit. Element of electric circuit in the form of bimetal plate is heated and sagged thanks to flow of current through it till bimetal plate and rod break and current is interrupted. Then gap between bimetal plate and rod diminishes due to cooling of bimetal plate up to moment when bimetal plate and rod make contact. Frequency of sagging of bimetal plate is recorded by frequency of interruption of current and value of displacement is registered by change of frequency of vibration of bimetal plate. EFFECT: generation of frequency output signal in the absence of highfrequency power supply sources. 1 dwg
