FIELD: plastic metal working, possibly fastening tubes having bimetallic shaped ends in tube plates of heat exchange apparatuses. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of profiling tube by forming trapezoidal cross section annular protrusions on outer surface of its ends; placing tube in tube plate opening having annular grooves at matching annular protrusions of tube with annular grooves; fixing tube against its possible motion and fastening it in opening of tube plate by applying compression effort to inner surface of tube; making annular grooves in tube plate opening with volume exceeding that of annular protrusions of tube ends; at forming tube ends, on inner surface of each end of tube opposite relative to annular protrusions placing sleeves with inner diameter less than that of tube opening after profiling tube. EFFECT: enhanced strength, closeness, corrosion resistance of tube-to-tube plate joints. 5 dwg
