FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: mechanism for rotating working tool from inoperative position to operating position and vice versa has cantilever and bearing construction, with one end of cantilever being inserted into bearing construction for rotation therein. Rotary lever with servodrive is positioned with its one end for rotation in bearing construction and its other end is pivotally connected to cantilever. Axis of rotation of rotary lever is spaced from axis of rotation of cantilever by predetermined distance. Rotation mechanism may be used in shaft furnaces, particularly, in blast furnaces and discharge devices. Such construction allows costs for hydraulic system to be reduced. EFFECT: increased efficiency by increased pressing force applied by rotation mechanism and reduced power consumption. 13 cl, 7 dwg
