FIELD: oil producing industry, particularly, compositions for performance of water shutoff operations. SUBSTANCE: proposed gelling composition may be used for control of filtration flows of oil formations, limiting of water inflows to oil and gas wells, elimination of annular space overflows of water and gas, disconnection of separated inundated formation intervals, equalization of absorption profiles in injection wells, in well workover. Said composition is based on aluminosilicate, inorganic acids and water. Aluminosilicate is used in the form of zeolite component for production of synthetic detergents, and acid, in the form of waste sulfuric acid or СНО-ГЛИФ (containing up to 16% of phosphoric acid) and water, with the following ratio of component, mas. %: zeolite component for production of synthetic detergents, 4-10; waste sulfuric acid or СНО-ГЛИФ, 8-16; water, the balance.
