FULLERENE SOLUTION PREPARATION PROCEDURE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2198136 C1

FIELD: carbon materials. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of cosmetics and drugs, biologically active preparations, and in nanotechnology. Weighed quantity of fullerene is added to solvent, in particular unsaturated fatty acid such as oleic or arachidonic acid, or their mixture; natural oil such as sea-buckthorn or cedar oil, or their mixture; natural fat such as cod-liver oil or animal fat, or their mixture; mineral and/or synthetic oil. In the course of dissolution, mixture is exposed to rectangular-wave ultrasonic emission with frequency 25-40 kHz and maximum specific power 50-100 mW/cu.cm and to electromagnetic microwave emission with wavelength 9.4 mm and maximum specific power input up to 1 W/cu.cm. Reaction space conditions: pressure 50-74 bar, temperature 80-150 C, exposition time 10-30 min. EFFECT: enabled preparation of stable precipitate- free solutions in nontoxic solvents without loss in biological activity level. 5 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl, 5 ex
