FIELD: small arms. SUBSTANCE: hand assault gun is designed to annihilate enemy personnel and to hit its firing facilities. Proposed hand assault machine gun has barrel with barrel extension, tube of gas mechanism, magazine for ammunition, sight with muzzle sight, grip, muzzle unit, bipod, forestock located under barrel with advance beyond gas chamber. Muzzle unit comes in the form of twin chamber system having compensation and slit-like holes. Muzzle brake chamber including slit-like holes is arranged inside flame arrester. Distinctive design features of invention make it possible to eliminate substantial demerits of analog and prototype and to enhance efficiency of machine gun.
