FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying sorbent into soil to depth below mark of deep plow trace, with sorbent being mixture of sapropel and soil used in the ratio of 1:5; applying mixture in the form of continuous 20 cm thick strip along drain trace across width of drain trench. Deep plowing is performed in plane non-parallel with respect to direction of drain axes. Method provides for reduced consumption of mineral fertilizer and allows water discharged into open basins and water ducts to be free from nutrient substances and to meet ecology requirements.
