FIELD: agriculture, plant growing. SUBSTANCE: method deals with treating seeds and seedlings with paraaminobenzoic acid (PABA) predissolved in hot water at 60-80 C to obtain solution of 0.01-0.05% concentration and seeds' exposure for 12-24 h with subsequent treatment of seedlings with PABA at the same concentration by supplementing either potassium permanganate at 0.02-0.1% concentration or boracic acid at 0.01-0.1%. The innovation provides higher crop yield of the following vegetable varieties: carrots, cucumbers, red beet, tomatoes. EFFECT: higher efficiency of presowing treatment. 1 tbl
