FIELD: producing vibration actions on oil and gas fields; seismic prospecting of mineral resources. SUBSTANCE: vibration exciter has housing with drive shaft located inside it; cylindrical skeleton mounted on said shaft embraces it at unbalance of permanent static moment whose centers of masses lie in common plane perpendicular to axis of drive shaft. Arranged in cylindrical skeleton is additional unbalanced mass at varying static moment made in form of adjustable screw mounted radially and engageable with drive shaft; mounted of adjustable screw by means of threaded bush is equal-arm rocker; each arm of this rocker is movably connected with one of two unbalanced masses at constant static moment freely resting against inner surface of cylindrical skeleton. Proposed device enhances efficiency of vibration action due to avoidance of generation of parasitic lateral oscillations and improves service characteristics due to simplified construction.
