FIELD: lubricants. SUBSTANCE: additive contains, wt %: calcium sulfonate, 15-50; sulfurized C9- C12-alkylphenolate calcium salt with alkalinity 140-250 mg KOH/g, 20-50; sulfurized C9-C12-alkylphenol, 5-15; and product of consecutive treatment of mixture of isopropyl and n-butyl alcohols taken in molar ratio 1:(0.7-8.0) with phosphorus pentasulfide and zinc oxide, 10-20. Additive can also contain calcium sulfonate with alkalinity 12-31mg KOH/g and mineral oil as diluent up to 15%. Mineral- and/or synthetic-origin motor oil for internal combustion engines may contain 3-10 wt % of aforesaid additive and may further contain ashless dispersant, thickening agent, depressant, and antifoaming agent.
