FIELD: protracted storage of aircraft engines, mainly gas-turbine engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed slushing compound contains slushing oil and kerosene at the following ratio of components, mass.%: slushing oil, 15 and kerosene 85. Method of internal preservation of aircraft engine includes preparation of engine for preservation, blowing the oxygen replenishment system with nitrogen, delivery of slushing compound, false starts of engine and cold cranking; after nitrogen blowing, ground start of engine is performed at delivery of slushing compound. Method of depreservation of aircraft engine after protracted storage includes blowing the oxygen replenishment system with nitrogen, cold cranking of engine and ground start with the use of slushing compound. EFFECT: reduced cost; simplification of method. 4 cl
