FIELD: photographic equipment, microfilming design, technological, archival and other documentation. SUBSTANCE: microfilming apparatus works jointly with special cassettes designed for it. Apparatus includes object stage with illumination and photographic camera incorporating lens with shutter and two two-coordinate independent mechanisms positioning roll and size photographic materials connected to stage. Each mechanism includes platforms for installation of two cassettes as minimum with microfilms of identical type and size. Cassettes incorporate mechanisms aligning light-sensitive surface of microfilm. Mechanism moving lens that matches picture plane of lens with light-sensitive plane of microfilm is also mounted in apparatus.
