FIELD: metallurgy, namely drive units of mechanisms for rocking molds of steel continuous casting plants and machines for continuous casting of billets. SUBSTANCE: electrohydraulic drive includes pump aggregate; one or more hydraulic cylinders having rod position pickup in each hydraulic cylinder connected with mold. Electrohydraulic drive includes in addition electronic control unit, electrohydraulic control units whose number corresponds to that of hydraulic cylinders; and pumping unit. Outlet of rod position pickup is connected with inlet of electronic control unit. Delivery inlets and draining outlets of electrohydraulic control units are connected through hydraulic circuits with respective outlets and inlet of pump aggregate. Outlets of each electrohydraulic control unit are connected through hydraulic circuits with inlets of hydraulic cylinder. Inlets of hydraulic cylinder are connected with inlets of pumping unit whose outlet is connected through hydraulic circuit with tank of pump aggregate. Electric control inlets of electrohydraulic control unit are connected with respective outlets of electronic control unit. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of electrohydraulic drive, its optimized parameters taking into account natural frequency of hydraulic drive. 4 cl, 2 dwg
