FIELD: hydrometallurgy; methods of extraction of noble metals from solutions of their salts. SUBSTANCE: method includes interaction of solutions being processed in sorption tower with carbon sorbent, saturation and processing of sorbent. According to first version, solutions being processed are preliminarily subjected to interaction with packing of thermodynamically unstable metals, their alloys, zinc process clinker and/or compounds of metals of varying valency at lowest degree of oxidation; interaction is performed to magnitudes of oxidizing reducing potential and pH at which metals remain in molten state; then solutions are processed with the use of carbon sorbent of ordered or disordered structure. According to second version, solutions to be processed are passed through packing of carbon sorbent of ordered or disordered structure in presence of thermodynamically unstable metals, their alloys and/or zinc process clinker, blast-furnace dust at constant contact of sorbent elements.
