PISTOL Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: weaponry, design of various pistols with double row, staggered positioning of cartridges in magazine. SUBSTANCE: pistol includes barrel mounted in frame carrying pistol grip where magazine with double row staggered arrangement of cartridges is placed. Upper edges of side walls of magazine are bent inwards. Enclosure inside which bolt is fixed is installed on guides in frame for axial movement. Bolt has firing pin and extractor, its lower part has longitudinal grooves. Rear parts of bents in magazine have bevels made at acute angle. Extractor has chute- like form with side walls bent inwards and located in longitudinal grooves of bolt. Front parts of bents have bevels on outside and are located right after bevels of bents in magazine. In rear part of extractor side walls are shortened and one of them is bent outwards at right angle. Bent part is positioned in lateral groove made in rear part of frame. Dimension between internal edges of bents of extractor is equal to 0.65-0.75 dimension between internal edges of bents in magazine. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability of pistol thanks to exclusion of any possibility of delays in shooting associated with cartridge popping out of magazine. 3 dwg
