FIELD: plastic metal working, possibly manufacture of high-accurate riveted articles such as serpantine retainers of rolling bearings. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes upper riveting tool with cavities for each rivet in the form of truncated cones and lower riveting tool, both mounted with possibility of motion one relative to another. Apparatus also includes mechanism for preliminary orientation having diametrically arranged on lower riveting tool mounting base with cavity in the form of truncated cone and compensating base with cross section in the form of equilateral trapezium. Said bases are designed for diametrically placed rivets. Lower riveting tool has supporting plane for remaining rivets. Upper riveting tool is provided with ball support.
