Novelty of approach lies in that foundation has inclined ring rib over edges of maximal circumference of bearing plate and reinforced concrete beams linked to it and radially converging to center of cone-shaped recess in foundation. Ground cushion has form of truncated cone and is located in cone-shaped recess in foundation. EFFECT: raised stability of tank under horizontal seismic loads and non-uniform compressibility of foundation ground. 2 dwg
