METHOD FOR TREATING AND PREVENTING GASTROINTESTINAL, PULMONARY STRONGYLATOSES AND CYSTODOSIS IN SHEEP Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: veterinary science, veterinary helminthology. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with treating and preventing monieziasis, tysanieziasis, avitellinosis, dictyocaulosis, nematodiasis, chabertiosis, haemonchosis and other gastrointestinal strongylatoses in sheep. With therapeutic and prophylactic purposes animals are injected with preparation containing polyphen, nilverm and water at the dosage of 0.33 ml/kg body weight both in spring and autumn that provides successfulness on all above- mentioned helminthoses in sheep. The present method provides decreased labor and financial expenses, simplified way of preparation injecting, shortened period of treatment, more stable suspension which could be more easily introduced for animals. EFFECT: higher efficiency and prophylaxis.
