FIELD: sewage treatment systems; purification works. SUBSTANCE: proposed unit includes device for reception and filtration of wastes which is made in form of drum mounted in body and device for cleaning working surfaces in the course of operation. Sewage is admitted tangentially to profiled blades inside drum from pipe line via branch pipes. Profiled blades are located along generatrix of drum setting it in rotation. Cylindrical working surface of drum is made in form of screen or from members containing screens. Device proposed for cleaning working surfaces is made in form of system of injectors combined by manifold for supply of water or biologically active gas, air for example; jets are directed tangentially relative to working surface of drum, thus creating additional torque for drum.
