SUBSTANCE: proposed filter element for air cleaner is made in form of parallelepiped with square in its base; it is made from filter material bent in form of corrugated tape with seal made in form of bead, skeleton made in form of screen with cells in form of rhombs located over entire surface of one larger face of parallelepiped. Specific feature is square form of base of parallelepiped and availability of at least one stamped stiffener connecting two opposite sides of square at right angle; larger diagonal of rhomb is perpendicular to stiffener and one stiffener runs near center of square. End faces of stampings may be closed. EFFECT: enhanced reliability due to full-strength property of its skeleton. 2 cl, 5 dwg
